So Close!

I've nearly, nearly finished - I've got a small amount of the left sleeve and all of the ribbing to do, and that’s it. We’re going on holiday on Thursday, so my original plan was to have the whole thing finished before then. Now I’d be happy with just having the ribbing to finish off when I return!

We are having to do a lot of packing because we are going to be camping while on holiday – this means we have so much extra gear to pack. I’m not going to knit while we are away ‘cause I don’t think it’s fair on X, but I am going to drag him around every yarn shop possible. We are going to Seattle then slowly driving down to San Francisco (although not staying in SF) via Portland, so I’ve been spending a lot of time googling the LYS’s. The shops look fab – finally I’ll be able to touch these yarns I keep hearing about. Also with the good exchange rate I should be able to buy some nice yarns cheaply. I’m imagining some kind of yarn paradise!
