Progress at last

Finally my jumper is progressing. Unexpected things are still happening, but now they are good things!

This week I went to the S&B in Balham for the first time. It's held in a pub which is very local to me which used to be a bowling club (of the green variety not the alley sort). It's really cool inside the pub - they have kept the layout of the place and the bowling paraphenalia. I liked it so much I went back with X for a meal on Thursday night. Anyhow the S&B people (all women) were very nice and working on all kinds of different projects. It's nice to meet up with people who also like to knit. I was a bit of the odd one out - being about the same age as most of the other women but with no children. they all seemed to have nice lives - pilates one night, yoga the next...

Today it is KIP day, but hopefully going to the S&B will count all week. I haven't been knitting on the tube becaue it is incredibly busy and hot right now down there.
