My Round Yoked Cardigan is going OK - I'm about ready to divide for the sleeves and body.Ive started a new cushion with some lovely yarn I got discounted last year from John Lewis - Plaid - Crushed Shell. I think I've only got enough yarn for one side of a cushion (I've worked out it takes 300-400g) so I might do the B-side in a contrasting yarn... As usual efforts to decrease my stash will lead to more yarn being bought!
I was knitting with the Rowan Plaid yarn on the tube last night and my friend was watching me knit UNTIL she got an allergic reaction to the yarn! I had to put the wool away. It contains some Merino Wool and Alpaca, and it has been in my stash for some time so no doubt it also contains a large number of dust mites!
We went out to see the mighty Ghost Club - my favorite live band. They did a 3D cover which was fab. Screaming Tea Party were also playing & they blew everyone away. They are descibed as no-wave punk and are a mix of Japenese guitarists and an Italian female dummer who may be the coolest women in the world. I like their EP but LIVE they are absolutely fantastic!
