The Grass is Greener

Since it's spring I bought some green hand painted sock yarn from Old Maiden Aunt (named from the Jane Austin quote). It's 100% blue faced leicester (superwash). I think she gave me the best customer service I've ever had. I got about 10 emails from her about the yarn. Anyhow, I'm knitting it into socks with knitties universal sock formula.

The yarn is called "the Grass is Greener" but I've checked and I think the wool is greener than the grass!

It's beautiful here at the moment - warm and sunny. Yesterday we went for a hike on Box Hill (coincidently famous from the Jane Austin book Emma) and I took some photos of the spring growth.
